This Privacy Policy applies to MBTI Test for Android ("MBTI Test", the "App"), provided by MicroFish. It explains information handling when you take a personality test, review or share a result, view advertising, or purchase MBTI Pro.
Test data and local storage
Your questionnaire answers, personality type, result reports, test history, and preferences are stored locally on your device. The App has no account or developer-operated cloud sync for this test data. We do not actively upload it to our servers, use it to create an advertising profile, or provide it to AdMob. Local test-data storage is separate from the network processing needed for advertising and Google Play purchases.
Clearing the App storage/data in Android Settings or uninstalling the App may remove local records and preferences. Keep copies of any results you want to retain. Results you share or save outside the App are separate copies; clearing app data does not delete those copies. Device-level backup and transfer behavior depends on your Android version and device settings; we do not promise that local history can be restored.
Advertising and third-party data processing
The free version uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). Google and its advertising partners collect and share advertising-related data for ad delivery, measurement, analytics, fraud prevention, and service reliability. Personalization depends on your consent where required, region, device settings, and the advertising configuration.
Advertising data may include your IP address, which can be used to estimate approximate location; app and ad interactions such as app launches, taps, and video views; diagnostic and performance information such as launch time, crashes, and hangs; and device or account identifiers such as the Android advertising ID, app set ID, and other identifiers where applicable. The SDK sends advertising-related data over encrypted connections using Transport Layer Security (TLS). This does not mean that all data stays on your device.
Advertising choices
You can review the advertising controls available in Android Settings, including resetting or deleting the advertising ID where supported. Available controls vary by Android version and device. Where advertising-consent choices are offered or required, you can use them to manage personalization. Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily remove ads or all advertising-related data processing; non-personalized or contextual ads may still be shown.
Google handles advertising-related data under its own policies and retention practices. Privacy requests relating to that data can be made through Google privacy controls. We do not control the retention or deletion of data held independently by Google or its advertising partners.
Google Play purchases
Monthly MBTI Pro and Yearly MBTI Pro subscriptions are processed through Google Play. The App receives purchase and entitlement information needed to determine whether Pro features and ad removal are available, such as the product, purchase token, transaction status, and subscription status. We do not receive your card number, Google Account password, or full payment details. Google handles payments and purchase records under its own policies.
Sharing and information you choose to send
When you choose to share a result, Android and the destination application or service receive the content you select and handle it under their own policies. If you voluntarily email feedback, a bug report, or a support request, we receive your email address and any message or attachments you send. We use that information to respond and investigate your request; support correspondence may be retained as needed for that purpose and applicable legal obligations. You can contact [email protected] to request deletion, subject to lawful retention requirements.
Children's privacy
The App is not specifically directed to children. Minors should use it with the consent and guidance of a parent or legal guardian. Advertising availability and personalization may be restricted according to age, region, and platform requirements.
Your choices, security, and updates
You can manage local records through device storage controls, choose whether to share results, use available Google and Android privacy controls, and manage subscriptions through Google Play. We do not sell your questionnaire answers, personality type, test history, or reports. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights; contact us about information we hold. No device or transmission method is completely secure. We may update this policy when the App or applicable requirements change. The effective date identifies this version.
