Scope
MicroFish develops FusePixel (豆图), an iPhone and iPad app that turns pictures into fuse-bead patterns and helps you edit, build, and export them. This policy describes the current app, rather than the MicroFish portfolio website or services you choose to use outside the app.
Our approach to your information
The app works without an account. MicroFish does not receive your photos, patterns, custom palettes, build progress, or language preferences through the app. The current version does not include developer-operated cloud storage, advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. We do not sell your personal information.
Photos and imported files
When you choose a picture through the iOS photo picker, the app receives the picture you select for editing. Selecting a picture does not give MicroFish access to your entire photo library. You may also select CSV files through the system file picker to import patterns or custom palettes. These files are processed on your device. Image adjustments, color matching, and AI conversion using the bundled Core ML model run locally; the app does not upload your content to an AI service.
Information stored on your device
The app saves project information in its local application storage, including source images where needed, thumbnails, pattern cells, palette choices, editing settings, recovery data, and build progress. Custom palettes, display preferences, and your language choice are also stored locally. Saving this information lets you reopen projects and continue your work. It remains until you remove the relevant content or remove the app and its data. Device backups managed by Apple or your chosen backup provider may contain app data according to your device settings; this is not MicroFish cloud synchronization.
Exporting and sharing
Exporting can create image, CSV, and materials-list files on your device. When you choose a destination in the system share sheet or save a file to another app or storage provider, that destination receives the content you choose to share. Its privacy practices apply to that content. Exported or shared copies are not deleted when you delete the original project.
Contacting us
If you email us, we receive your email address and the message or attachments you send. We use this information to respond and resolve your request, and retain it only as needed for support and legitimate recordkeeping. Please avoid sending sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request. Email transmission and storage are also governed by your email provider.
Apple and other services
App distribution, system photo and file pickers, device backups, and email are provided by Apple or other providers. Those providers may process information under their own policies. Apple may independently provide developers with App Store reports or diagnostics based on its services and your settings; this policy does not replace Apple’s privacy policy.
Your choices and deletion
You can choose which pictures and files to import, delete saved projects in the app, and manage app permissions and device backups in iOS Settings. Deleting the app and its data, rather than offloading the app, removes its local projects and preferences, subject to copies retained in backups or exported elsewhere. For information you have sent to us by email, contact us to request access, correction, or deletion. We will handle requests according to applicable law.
Security
The app relies on the iOS application sandbox and device protections for local storage. You are responsible for protecting your device and any exported files or backups. No storage or communication method can guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
The app does not require children or other users to provide personal information to MicroFish. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or the applicable minimum age in their region. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can address it.
Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy when the app or our privacy practices change. The updated date identifies the current version. Material changes, including any future collection or upload features, will be described in an updated policy and communicated as required by applicable law.
